Keto Travel Snacks

Hey there, friends!!  I have another travel/vacation themed post to share with you all again today – keto travel snacks!  It can be tough sometimes to be prepared & stick to your preferred way of eating, especially on vacation.  It’s not impossible – or all that hard, really!

It helps to bring along a few things, especially for the airport & on the plane.  Airports have some low-carb friendly items such as nuts & Quest Bars (over $4 each!), but they are definitely pricey.

Some of the snacks I pre-packed to take with me on the plane were (pictured above):

  • Pistachios
  • Raw mixed nuts
  • Macadamia nuts
  • Extra virgin olive oil packet
  • Coconut butter packet
  • Quest Bars (the stevia ones)
  • Stevia packets

It helps SO much to be prepared – because you KNOW they aren’t serving anything but carb-tactic junk on those planes!  Plus, prices in the airport are insane!  😉

Some snacks I picked up on the road were…

Sprouts!!  I’ve heard of this grocery store, but never actually seen one until now… so, had to go in & check it out!  Happy I did because I got some nice goodies… a (real California) avocado, coconut butter, & macadamia nuts.

Later, we were also able to stop at a Safeway… I’ve never been in one of those before either.  They had these great organic Go-Raw coconut snacks!  There was a chocolate one & a lime one – they were both good, especially the chocolate!

One other thing we discovered – at Starbucks of all places, were these great little olive packets called Oloves!

Well, I think that was about it for snacks on the road… of course, there are always cheese sticks & meat at the gas stations, as well as occasionally hard-boiled eggs or pork rinds.

What are your favorite low-carb/keto snack ideas for traveling?
